How to get to Hotel Costa Azul from Palma Airport?

You can get from Palma Airport to the Hotel Costa Azul by taking the A1 Line from the airport to Pl. Espanya and then Line 1 Portopí-Sindicat to the Passeig Maritim, Monsenyor Palmer stop.

However, if you decide to hire a car, the journey from Son Sant Joan to Hotel Costa Azul is very simple. As you leave the airport, take the motorway in direction ‘Paseo Marítimo de Palma’ and continue along this road without changing direction. The road will bring you directly to our hotel opposite the Bay of Palma.

Historic centre

Just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel, you will find the picturesque Santa Catalina neighbourhood, Es Baluard Museum of Contemporary Art, the tapas and terraces area of Sa Llotja (La Lonja) and the autonomous government headquarters.

A little bit further away, just 15 minutes from the hotel, you will find the Cathedral of Mallorca, the Jardines del Rey, the famous Almudaina Palace, the Parliament and the magnificent Parc de la Mar: an extensive park with gardens and children’s play areas that stretches along the old city walls in front of the sea.

Beaches

For a worry-free day at the beach, you can easily reach the beaches of Can Pere Antoni, Es Portitxol and Ciudad Jardín from our hotel on the seafront promenade. Just follow the promenade in the direction of the city. Towards the east coast, you will find other beautiful beaches with wonderful atmospheres and complete services, such as Cala Major and Illetas. To reach these beaches, all you need to do is catch the line 3 urban bus that stops on the street behind the hotel.
