ACS Solar Energy
The 36 solar panels installed on the roof of the hotel allow us to cover 87.4% of the hotel’s Sanitary Hot Water demand and pre-heat part of the Heating installation in winter, reducing the impact on the Atmosphere by 35,935 Kg of CO2 per year, and the 4 panels located above the Llevant Room, which help us to heat the water of the swimming pool located on the 3rd floor, reduce the impact on the atmosphere by 2,595 Kg of CO2 per year.
The two heat recovery units installed in the air conditioning machines located on the roof allow us to recover 42% of the energy, and help us to heat the Domestic Hot Water used in the hotel.
90% of incandescent or energy-saving lamps have been replaced by LED lamps, saving 92% in electricity consumption for lighting.
Photovoltaic solar panels
A project financed by the European Union (NEXT GENERATION funds) has been carried out to install 44 photovoltaic panels on the roof of the hotel, using all of the 7.82 kWp produced to cover a large part of the hotel’s permanent lighting demand 365 days a year and to partly cover the occasional demand of some installations, such as IT equipment, Wi-Fi, cold rooms, air conditioning and recirculation pumps, reducing the impact on the atmosphere by 8,800 kg of CO2 per year.
The exterior doors are fitted with sensors to prevent the air conditioning from operating if they are open.
Acoustically and thermally insulated outer walls.

Save 45% of the water consumed
Information to customers asking for their collaboration and awareness of saving water and detergents in the laundry.
By making good use of water in the rooms and not washing towels daily, 55% of detergent discharged into the environment is saved and 60% of the water consumed is saved.
Improving the efficiency of laundry processes.
They save 27% of the chemicals discharged into the environment and 35% of the water consumed.
Improving the efficiency of dishwashing line processes.
It saves 32% of the water consumed and 20% of the products discharged into the environment.
Tanks with double-loading valves
All toilets have dual flush valves that help reduce water consumption by 35%.
Softened water and osmosed water.
All the water in the taps has been decalcified for better efficiency and customer comfort.
At points of human consumption, osmosis water is provided, which helps to reduce the consumption of plastic containers.
Elimination of plastics

Collaboration with companies such as Gravity Wave, who work towards plastic-free oceans by recovering tons of plastic fishing nets from the oceans and converting them into furniture, signage, etc., thereby giving all these plastics a second life.

At Gravity Wave, we collect and transform fishing nets abandoned at the bottom of the sea thanks to companies. Almost 50% of all plastic waste in the sea is made up of these abandoned nets, the worst waste (over 1,000 without degrading). To prevent this waste from returning to the same place, we are empowering companies and organisations to take action for the oceans.
